InsureKit Agency Software - Installation Instructions

InsureKit Agency will operate on Windows 2000 and XP. Users of Windows 98 and Windows ME may need to install the Windows Installer Update from Microsoft prior to installation of the InsureKit Agency Software.

Prior to Installing the InsureKit Agency Software please:

1. Determine the kind of Windows on your computer and install the Windows Installer Update if necessary. If you have Windows 98 and Windows ME and are sure that the Windows Installer Update has been applied, then you may skip this step, otherwise click here to start the Windows Installer upgrade.
2. Turn off any virus protection software.

Installing InsureKit Agency on Your Computer

1. Click here to Download the InsureKit Agency software. This is a 4.33MB file.

2. You will be presented with an alert asking if you wish to Open or Save the file to be downloaded. Save the file to a place you can easily get to on your computer (suggestions: your Desktop or My Documents folder).

3. Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded file and double click it to begin the InsureKit Agency software installation. The software can be installed anywhere on your computer that you like. (the default location for the installation is C:\Program Files\InsureKit Agency).

4. We suggest keeping the InsureKit Installer someplace on your hard drive. Should you ever feel that the software is not functioning properly, you can use the installer to repair the existing installation.

5. Reboot your computer.

6. You will see a desktop icon that can be used to launch the InsureKit Agency Software. The program is also accessible from your Start -> Programs menu. Note: You must have an active internet connection for InsureKit Agency to function properly.

7. Using the email address and password you registered with, you will be able to login to the InsureKit Agency software (you will have the option of letting the software remember this information for you so that you only have to enter it once).
